I struggled with my weight my ENTIRE life! By age 14, I weighed over 200 Lbs. I lost the weight as a teen, but Yo-Yo'ed my entire adult life. Diets worked in the short term, but I always gained back what I lost. My methods were not sustainable and certainly not healthy. After 40, my weight slowly shot up to 186! In early 2020 I decided enough was enough! I ended my bad habits and educated myself on the right way to achieve a healthy body. I fell in love with resistance training, HITT style cardio & Pilates, and transformed my physique on my own which was no small feat! I became Certified in Nutrition to give me a better understanding of how to fuel my body without compromise AND to add value to my Clients as their Personal Chef when desired a healthier regimen or faced dietary restrictions.
I was encouraged to pursue my Certification as a Personal Trainer to combine my passions which seemed to align more and more; Nutrition. Fitness AND preparing exquisite, tasteful meals that fit within my Client’s personal Lifestyle and Health Goals. I’ve combined all my experiences and lessons I’ve learned to develop the TLP Method to change your mindset about Food, Fitness & Lifestyle!
If I can do this after 50-anyone can, without deprivation. DIET is no longer part of my vocabulary!
